competing in the Novice Division. The Novice Division, with a
maximum age of 15, is one of three elite levels in competitive
figure skating. The Ice Mates are the most successful Novice division
team in the history of U.S Synchronized skating. As the U.S. Novice
Division's Silver Medalists they have the opportunity to represent
the U.S. in international competitions. In 2003 and 2004 they
represented the United States and competed in France where they
captured The French Cup and in 2000 they combined with the other
U.S. contingent teams to win The Nations Cup for the top overall
finish in the competition. The Ice Mates are recognized both nationally
and internationally for their team athleticism, innovative choreography,
