HSST takes a very flexible approach to corporate sponsorships and product endorsements. We seek to understand the interests, desires and expectations of corporate sponsors, whether global companies seeking to support corporate identity or product brands or smaller local businesses seeking community visibility and to support the excellence of these local skater-athletes.

Like most amateur athletes or teams that compete at a National, International and World Championship level, the costs are significant for coaching, training, on and off-ice wardrobes, facilities and travel among other things. This is especially true for the Haydenettes and the other elite level teams like Hayden’s Ice Mates and Lexettes that have the opportunity to travel internationally. We the teams travel they represent our local communities and the United States through U.S. Figure Skating, the governing body for all of figure skating in the U.S. Figure skating by almost any measure is one of the most expensive amateur sports.

Our flexible approach with both individuals and corporate sponsors extends to product vendors who may wish to have the Haydenettes and our other teams endorse various products used by the athletes, team officials and the coaches.

To the extent that an organization might wish to utilize the Haydenettes in client, customer marketing or employee activities, we can suggest ways in which we might assist with a client/customer or employee appreciation event. We can arrange a dinner party, reception, appreciation event or other function, then have your guests attend a competition and have a “meet-and-greet” event either before or after an appearance or competition with members of the team. We’ll gladly share videos from past competitions and appearances as well as have our coaches and skaters share their wonderful experiences.

We also appreciate that a financial sponsor may wish to have a more concrete idea on how their financial support will be used by the team or the organization. We can at times offer sponsorships of particular activities or appearances. Or should a sponsor want to help with defraying ice time cost we can do that. The teams’ custom-made performance dresses can easily cost upwards of $400-500 each and with two different dresses required for the two competitive programs, it easy to appreciate that we need to raise more than $15,000 for competition dresses for just one of our elite level teams. While corporate logos and other insignia are not permitted on the clothing worn during a competitive event, we’d be proud to wear, compete in and feature a company in other ways including training clothing, on HSST’s website and other collateral. Likewise, we can utilize financial support to support our coaches, without whom the skaters would never achieve what they have. Figure skating coaches are not highly paid, but they are critical to the teams’ success and this is full-time work for these professionals.

HSST is a 503(c) tax exempt organization and we can accommodate any size budget that a sponsor may have. We can assure a sponsor of two things…we put every single dollar to good use (or an amount with more zeros!) …and we’ll be greatly appreciative of any support we receive. We have no paid employees other than our Coaches, we have no office space and our overhead is substantially the required legal, accounting and other administrative costs. Secondly, we can assure you that 100% of any funds contributed will go directly to benefit the skater-athletes.
