HAYDEN MINI MATES BRING HOME THE SILVER MEDAL AT THE CAPE COD CLASSIC
Local Skaters to Perform Saturday in Hayden Holiday Ice Show & to Compete January in Lowell

LEXINGTON, MA.  The Mini Mates Juvenile synchronized skating team garnered its second silver medal of the season this past weekend at the Cape Cod Classic.  They  will skate in the annual Holiday Ice Show at Hayden Recreation Centre, Lexington MA, from 12-3 pm on Saturday, Dec. 17th and compete in the 28th annual Colonial Classic on January 6th and 7th  in Lowell MA.

The Mini Mates (coached by Kendra Flanagan and assistant coach Sam Mortimer), wearing hot pink and black skated to the theme song “Fame” choreographed by Hayden Synchronized Skating Teams director, Saga Krantz. They competed against teams from Philadelphia; Boston, Essex, NJ; Yonkers and Syossel, NY in the US Figure Skating Juvenile division.

The team will perform its competition program Saturday at Hayden. This exhibition is free to the public.  The skating facility is located on the corner of Lincoln St. and Worthen Rd. in Lexington. 

The team's next competition will be in the Juvenile division at the 2011 Colonial Classic Synchronized Skating Competition, hosted by the Colonial Figure Skating Club of MA, January 6-7 at the Paul E. Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA.
