The Lexettes are the newest team of the Hayden Synchronized Skating Teams (HSST). Made up of skaters between the ages of 14 to under 19, the Lexettes will compete as a team first in the 2006-2007 season in the highly populated Junior division. They are a group of skater athletes from many communities who come together to fulfill their dream of skating competitively on the national level and to drive towards representing the United States internationally.

The Lexettes roster includes skaters who have accomplished a great deal individually in free style, moves and dance, as well as synchronized skating, and now together, these athletes have made a commitment to build a new team within HSST with the support of their dedicated coaches, parents and supporters.

Synchronized Skating is the fourth figure skating discipline sponsored by U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). "Synchro" as the sport is known, is attracting new fans and fast growth both internationally and in the U.S. In the U.S. alone there are now more than 400 competitive teams. U. S. Figure Skating has identified synchro as the fastest growing part of competitive figure skating. In Europe and Canada, synchro is already a popular spectator sport. The growth and popularity of the sport was underscored when the Haydenettes were awarded the 2004 Michelle Kwan Trophy by SKATING magazine as the most popular skaters in the magazine's annual readers' poll, a first for a Synchronized team.

The Lexettes recently joined the Haydenettes in A Race for The Cure on September 9, 2006 helping to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation and later skated in the Opening Ceremony for the Frog Pond in Boston Common on November 15, 2006. The Lexettes faced national competition at the Dr. Porter Competition in Ann Arbor, MI, for the first time. Pictures from Dr. Porter are shown below.
